Tia Elvidge

I’m a performer, facilitator and director and I’m Ashfield born and bred, the only time I’ve ever left was when I went to uni to study Community Drama! I love working with community groups to tell all sorts of stories. I’ve a really big interest in masked theatre,  clowning and Commedia dell’arte, so I’m currently growing my collection of masks and noses! @tiaelvidge

I am the artistic director of a theatre company called The Playmaker Company, and have previously been the AD of the touring theatre group The Felley Players, based in Underwood, Nottinghamshire, and former president and current member of The Lovelace Theatre Company In Hucknall. I have previously trained with The RSC, and performed with them in 2016, when I played Bottom in a Midsummer Night's Dream, at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham, and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford upon Avon. I have most recently performed at The Actors' Centre in Covent Garden, performing the hour-long one-act monologue "Tick" by Michael Corbidge as part of "A Short Season about Everything", I am currently in rehearsals for a radio play called Shuttle Shot. @PlaymakerCompa1

Jack Burrows: I am an Ashfield based theatre maker who has created a range of work over the last 18 years.  Most recently I’ve been involved in writing and directing the ATTFE Community pantomime at Sutton Academy, where I also run the Centre Stage Academy Youth Theatre. I also work for Education at Mansfield Palace, delivering workshops, youth theatre and community projects. I’m currently collecting memories and thoughts of the people of Ashfield to create a community play to be performed in 2022.  Previous plays include Suddenly and Dreadful Objects so Familiar.  Acting roles have included Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Rooster Byron in Jerusalem and Lennie in Of Mice and Men. @Buzville

Elemental Theatre Company are a theatre collective from Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Our motive is to bring quality theatre at affordable prices. We have had 4 sold out shows since our establishment in 2018. Our Theatre style is very modern and we often write our own productions. We usually perform live in and around Nottingham, and have had 5* reviews from a mixture of newspapers, radio stations and so forth. However over lockdown have been focusing on writing new scripts, performing famous monologues and writing and creating our latest murder mystery ‘Shot Down in Lockdown’. We did this in aid of Cavendish Cancer Care and were able to raise over £2000 for the charity, through an online event. @Elemental_ETC
