This room is brought to you by three of Nottinghamshire's finest arts institutions: New Art Exchange, New Perspectives Theatre Company and Inspire Culture Learning and Libraries.

New Art Exchange presents Encroachments, an immersive exhibition by the acclaimed British Artist, Shezad Dawood. On show at New Art Exchange between Jan – March 2020, the installation explores the relations between Pakistan and the US since partition in 1947.

Encroachments is co-commissioned by Sharjah Art Foundation for SB14, 2019 and New Art Exchange, Nottingham. Generously supported by the Bagri Foundation. Roll up, roll up for virtual heritage fun with Inspire Picture Archive, in a specially curated  UPLOAD Virtual Festival area over the weekend. 

All the fun of the fair (and festivals, circuses and parades) is there to showcase our best pictures of local people enjoying high days and holidays at home and away. 

 

The Inspire Picture Archive makes it easy to browse and download fascinating historical images of Nottinghamshire. The collection includes our wonderful photographs from the Raleigh Cycle Company, along with thousands more from around the county - 22,700 at the last count!
