StreamPark is an award-winning interactive digital events platform that hosts immersive events for national organisations, theatres and communities in virtual parks, venues and worlds.
Some recent highlights include a National Woodland Trust Festival, described by the Trust as the “biggest virtual celebration of woods and trees the UK has ever seen” bringing together Tree Charter Branches from across the UK funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund; Nottingham Theatre Royal Concert Hall, National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, and Inspire Culture's Christmas concerts to thousands of ticket holders, described by Notts County Council Chairman Stuart Wallace as a “great way to continue the activities we enjoy in a safe way from home”; and UPLOAD Virtual Festival, a benefit arts festival hosted by BBC Radio Nottingham and endorsed by celebrities including Imelda Staunton CBE, featuring over 150 acts and well-known arts organisations including the Nottingham Playhouse, Nordoff Robbins and Trent University to thousands of ticket holders.
In May 2021, the platform partnered with the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham, Live Cinema UK and Oxfam GB to explore a hybrid of online and in-person immersive events funded by Horizon Digital Economy Research. The achievements of StreamPark were acknowledged by an award for Creativity and Innovation, presented by acclaimed cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason on behalf of Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries. Director, Joel Hall has given keynote speeches on StreamPark at various conferences including MusicMark's Fast Forward conference and the University of Nottingham's Future is Immersive event chaired by Professor of Creative and Cultural Industries, Helen W. Kennedy.
