About the Event

The Big Red Rock by Jess Stockham tells the story of Bif, a small green monster, who finds his path is blocked by a big red rock which will not move out of his way. His friend Bop and a number of other monsters try to help Bif but nothing seems to work until something unexpected happens! This is a simple comic tale about teamwork and problem-solving.

This has been turned into a brand-new Early Years musical with Jess Stockham, lyricist Valerie Hall and composer and Inspire Music teacher Joel Hall. Performances will take place on an interactive Big Red Rock Park between the 29 March and 4 April with guest actors Iona Crampton from Peppa Pig Live, Khalid Daley from the National Theatre and Nottinghamshire Schools.
